SHIRLEY ANNE (WILLIAMSON) JEPSON, 85 of Stamford, VT died Thursday November 19, 2015 at her home.
She was born in North Adams, MA on March 22, 1930, daughter of Harry Grant and Shirley Mae (Smith) Williamson. She attended Clarksburg schools and graduated from Drury High School.
Shirley was last employed at Stamford Valley Golf Course. Earlier she had worked at the former Burger Bar in Stamford and at Sprague Electric Co. She also helped her father on a bread route. She and her late husband operated a maple sugar business for many years.
She was a member of Stamford Community Church. Shirley enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, hunting and fishing. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was the widow of G. Earl Jepson who died on June 24, 2004. They were married on October 15, 1955.
Survivors include three daughters- Susan Senecal and her husband, Steve and Nancy Dargie and her husband, Chris, both of Stamford, VT and Gail Bailey and her husband, Dale of Clarksburg, MA; and seven grandchildren including Michelle Barbaro and her husband, Salvatore; Amy Maselli and her husband, Timothy; Steven Senecal and his fiancée, Sara Grimaldi; Megan Dargie and Alex Dargie, all of Stamford, VT; Mekayla Bailey of North Adams; and Alexis Bailey of Clarksburg; and two great grandchildren- Theodore Maselli and Salvatore Barbaro.
She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Poirot.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A prayer service for Shirley Jepson will be held on Monday November 23, 2015 at 6:00 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-6 PM. Private burial will be in Millard Cemetery in Stamford, VT. Memorial donations may be made to the Stamford Volunteer Fire Dept. in care of the funeral home.
