Lucille Rose (Martin) Lewis Jarvis, 99 of North Adams, MA died Wednesday January 6, 2016 at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in North Adams, MA on May 5, 1916, daughter of Henry W. and Lucy (Cardinal) Martin. She attended schools in Adams.
Lucille worked at Sprague Electric Co. for over 30 years until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was the widow of Richard Jarvis and Ralph Lewis.
Survivors include two sons- Ralph C. Lewis and his wife, Virginia of North Adams and Lawrence R. Lewis and his wife, Barbara of North Adams. She also leaves five grandchildren including Lorianne Lewis, Deborah Lefave, Karen Blondin O'Connor and her husband Leon, Michael Lewis and his wife Nancy, and Richard Lewis and his wife Annette; four great grandchildren- Kaileigh, Samantha, Sarah and Nicole; and five great great grandchildren- Gary Jr., Ella, Dakota, Tanner, and Inali; one sister- Sarah Molleur of Adams; and Nieces and Nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Lucille Lewis Jarvis will be celebrated Saturday January 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA are Saturday morning from 9-10:30 AM.
