Robert William Therrien, 78, of North Adams, MA died on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in North Adams, MA on October 7, 1938 a son of the late Raymond and Ida (Bourassa) Therrien.
He attended Drury High School in North Adams. Robert served in the Massachusetts National Guard for about 10 years. He was last employed by General Cable Company in Williamstown. Prior to that, he worked at Wall-Streeter Shoe Company in North Adams. He was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church.
Survivors include his wife Julia Mary (Bolus) Therrien, whom he married in 1964. He also leaves a daughter Mary Reardon and her husband, William of Rowe, MA; a son Roger Therrien and his wife, Susan of North Adams; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a cousin Linda Lloyd; a close family friend, Mary Jacoby; as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Raymond and Edward Therrien, and his sister Arlene Malloy.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A service to celebrate the life of Robert Therrien will be private. Burial will take place in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
