Francis Hector Lemieux, 82 of Clarksburg, MA died Thursday April 20, 2017 at his home.
He was born in North Adams, MA on May 23, 1934, son of Hector F. Lemieux and Irene (Babeu) Lemieux Carsno. He attended local schools including the St. Joseph’s High School.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the US Navy.
Francis was last employed by the General Electric Co. for over 20 years until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Scarlet B. (Penley) Lemieux whom he married on November 22, 1992; two daughters- Dianna Perras of Pownal, VT and Linda Laroux of Williamstown, MA; and five sons- Francis H. Lemieux Jr. of South Carolina; Paul Lemieux of Clarksburg; William Lemieux of Jacksonville, VT; Robert Lemieux and Cameron Lemieux, both of Clarksburg. He also leaves twenty grandchildren and several great grandchildren. His son, Dennis Lemieux is deceased.
