Obituary for Rita Biancha Morehouse Beebe (Zanett)

Rita ( Zanett) Morehouse Beebe died peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2017 . She was born on March 3, 1926 in North Adams, MA a daughter of the late Clementina (Lutterotti) Zanett Senaldi and Louis Zanett. She attended local schools within the area and was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Adams.
Rita was first employed at Gaverts Film Co. in Williamstown, Sprague Electric in North Adams and Four Acres Restaurant in Williamstown. In 1975 she became employed at Modern Aluminum Anodizing Corp. until her retirement in 1991 after 16 years of service.
Rita belonged to North Adams Council on Aging, North Adams Seniors, North Adams Tri Ad and North Adams Friendly Club. She enjoyed her friends for Bingo, exercise and lunches at the Spitzer Center. At home she enjoyed doing her word search puzzles, playing solitaire and very rarely missed Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! She loved flowers and entertaining her family and friends in her home. Her large family was so important to her and her love was always abundant. She would take on any family member for a hand at Rummy 500 and in most cases won!
Rita leaves her son William B. Morehouse Jr. and his wife, Sheryl of Stamford, VT, her daughter Linda Larabee and her husband, Raymond of Clarksburg, MA and her daughter, Sandra Morehouse of North Adams, MA as well as eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Rita Beebe will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 26 from 4-6p.m. at the Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, MA.
