Isabel Thompson Hyndman, 95 of North Adams, MA died Monday July 10, 2017 at North Adams Commons.
She was born in North Adams, MA on July 8, 1922 daughter of David and Elizabeth (Thompson) Hyndman. She attended local schools and graduated from the Drury High School.
Isabel was employed at the General Cable Co and Warren Wire Co. for many years until her retirement. Before that, she worked at Ann's Kiddie Shop on Eagle Street. Isabel enjoyed bowling and cribbage.
She is survived by her longtime companion of over 50 years, Phyllis M. Schmidt. Isabel also leaves her sister, Evelyn Hyndman of North Adams; her brother David "Mickey" Hyndman of Adams and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and one brother including Catherine Corsi Clark, Jane Martinsen, Hazel Johnson and James Hyndman.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Isabel Hyndman will be Thursday July 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday morning from 10-11 AM.
