Isabella M. (McHaffie) Parent Ross, 95 of 6 Lanckton Court, Pittsfield passed away July 24, 2017 at Hillcrest Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Charlemont, MA on February 3, 1922 a daughter of the late John and Viola (Albee) McHaffie. She attended schools in Charlemont.

Isabella was briefly employed by Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams as an inspector and in 1952 moved to Pittsfield. She then worked as a seamstress in her home for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Isabella was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Dalton.

She enjoyed music, sewing, crocheting, knitting and gardening.

Survivors include her nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren, two stepdaughters, Rita Chipani of Pittsfield and Bette Jane Richardson of Port St. Lucie, FL, three step-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren, four step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her two husbands, Philip P. Parent and George R. "Gigi" Ross, her son, Craig A. Parent, her daughter, Isabella Shirley Greenleaf, her brothers, John W. McHaffie, William McHaffie, her sisters, Ruth Fitroy, Grace Clark, Clara Jettson and Elizabeth Zoito.

Funeral Notice: There will be a Memorial Service for Isabella M. Ross on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 235 Dalton Division Rd., Dalton, MA. All are welcome to attend. There are no calling hours and burial will be private.
