Doris Mae (Lindsay) Roberts, 91 of Clarksburg, MA died Monday July 3, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 6, 1925, daughter of John and Caroline (Seikot) Lindsay. She attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School. She also attended Colby Jr. College.
Doris was primarily a homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in North Adams. Doris enjoyed golf and was a lifetime member of Taconic Golf Club. She was an active volunteer at North Adams Regional Hospital.
She was the widow of William Bemis Roberts who died on April 1, 2015. They were married on November 24, 1945.
Survivors include three daughters including Lynn C. Gilbert Penson and her husband, Martin of Thousand Oaks, CA; Wendy L. Roberts of Cornelius, NC; and Candice L. Agnew and her husband, Richard of Naples, FL; and one son- Jeffrey L. Roberts of Belchertown, MA. She also leaves six grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her brother, William Lindsay is deceased.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A private funeral for Doris Roberts was held at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial was in Clarksburg Cemetery.
