RALPH CLAYTON LEWIS JR. 82, of North Adams, MA died on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Berkshire medical center in Pittsfield, MA. He was born in North Adams, MA on April 13, 1935 a son to the late, Ralph C. Lewis Sr. and Lucille Rose (Martin) Lewis Jarvis. Ralph attended schools in North Adams, MA. He was employed as a foreman at Sprague Electric and later at Quadland’s Flowers. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in North Adams. He loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Belle (Harvey) Blondin Lewis as well as three daughters, Lorianne Lewis of North Adams, Deborah (Blondin) LeFave of Clarksburg and Karen Blondin and her husband, Liam O’Connor of Sarasota, FL. He also leaves one grandchild, Samantha Tanner and two great grandchildren Tanner Macksey and Dillon Macksey and a sister-in-law Barbara “Honey” Lewis. and is also survived by his Aunt, Sarah Molleur of Adams; and cousins including Tom Molleur and his wife, Gloria, "Gigi" of Adams; Christine Nimmons of Adams; Ellie Fitzgerald and her husband, Pete of CT and Estelle Macek and her husband, James of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Lawrence R. Lewis who died on August 30, 2017.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Ralph Clayton Lewis will be held 11a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, MA. A Calling hour will take place beginning at 10a.m.. Burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA.
