Christopher David Rancourt 23 died Saturday September 9, 2017. He was born in North Adams on August 4, 1994 a son of David Christopher Rancourt and Valerie (Myers) Rancourt. He attended schools in Clarksburg and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 2012. Chris was an accomplished athlete and was a member of the Drury varsity football and baseball teams. He was employed by Yard Work by Dan. Survivors include his father and stepmother David and Melanie Rancourt of Clarksburg and Mother Valerie (Myers) Rancourt of North Adams. One sister Brittany M. Rancourt of Adams. Two brothers David M. Rancourt of Clarksburg and James A. Rancourt of North Adams. Paternal grandfather James R. Rancourt of North Adams and maternal grandfather Timothy Randall of North Adams. Several uncles, aunts, cousins and a nephew and a niece. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Patricia Randall.
Private Services for family and friends will take place Thursday September 14 at 11:00 AM at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma. Private burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Private calling hours are Thursday morning from 9-10:30 AM at the funeral home.
