James “Uncle James” Edward McKeon, 51, of Howland Avenue, Adams died on September 18, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. He was born in North Adams on November 5, 1965 a son of the late John E. & Dorothy M. (Kenyon) McKeon. He attended McCann High School and later became a Chef throughout the United States of America.
He was the widower of Laura (Dewitt) McKeon. He leaves his daughters, Kasey Benton and Katie Warner, and grandsons Jacob 7, and Noah 4. 3 sisters, Doreen McKeon, Jacqueline McKeon and Becky McKeon and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A celebration for Jimmy's life, rather than mourning of his death, will take place on Wednesday September 27, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Holiday Inn, in North Adams, MA. If at all possible the family has requested that everyone who attends wear blue jeans and a black concert or Harley shirt.
