Obituary for Marian Katherine Falcon (Scott)

Marian Katherine (Scott) Falcon, 83, of North Adams passed away on Monday October 2, 2017 at Wingate of Norton in Norton, MA. After a long battle with health issues, she died peacefully and comfortably surrounded by friends and her family
She was born in Adams, MA on July 27, 1934 a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Scully) Scott. Marian attended schools in North Adams, graduating from Drury High School. She went on to work as a lab technician at Sprague Electric for 18 years. She was a member of the Drury's Moms Club, and was a big supporter of Drury athletics. Prior to her retirement she worked at North Adams City Hall in the Assessor's office for many years. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church in North Adams.
She was the widow of William Carl Falcon, whom she married on June 26, 1953 at St. Francis Church. They lived together in North Adams raising their family until his death June 2, 1984 at the age of 50, they were married for 31 years. She later had a relationship with her then companion Everett Unis. Survivors include a daughter Carol Ann Rollins and her husband, Stephen of Rehoboth, MA; sons Michael Timothy Falcon and his wife, Carla of Victor, NY, and Scot William Falcon of Coolidge AZ. She leaves behind a granddaughter Britney Falcon; sister Barbara Goodwin; as well as nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her grandson Adam Falcon, as well as her brother John Scott.
A special thanks to Compassionate Care Hospice program of Attleboro Ma, they provided Marian with support, very special care and love., in her final days. A thanks to the nurses at Wingate of Norton, Marian had special friendships with a few of the nurses that she loved and they loved her, they especially loved her wit and humor.
A very special thanks to Marian's two friends Phyllis Sink and Micheline Moran, for their support,devotion and undying love.
Marian loved North Adams and she loved the Berkshires!
A special request was asked by the family, that Marian"s last ride would be over the Mohawk Trail one more time to take her home; a heartfelt thank you to Flynn and Dagnoli for making that request happen.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A celebration of life for Marian Falcon will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home, CENTRAL Chapel, 74 Marshall Street in North Adams, MA.
