Obituary for Leo Wilfred LaValley

Leo Wilfred LaValley, 92 of North Adams, MA died Sunday October 8, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center.
He was born in Brattleboro, VT on July 4, 1935, son of Mary (Benoit) LaValley. He attended local schools.
Leo was a veteran of World War II and served in the US Army. He was last employed by Sprague Electric Co. After his retirement, Leo worked as a bus monitor. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed baseball, especially following the Boston Red Sox.
His wife was Martha (Belouin) LaValley who died on May 5, 2015. They were married on June 7, 1947.
Survivors include one daughter- Kimberly LaValley and five sons- David LaValley, Peter LaValley, Michael LaValley, Richard LaValley and Shaun LaValley all of North Adams. He also leaves 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. One daughter and two sons are deceased including Mary Beth LaValley, Stephen LaValley and Lawrence LaValley and his brother, Ben LaValley is deceased.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Leo LaValley will be Friday October 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 10-11 at the funeral home.
