Minola Isabell "Nonie" (Smith) Shurtleff, 85 of North Adams, MA died Sunday November 26, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Readsboro, VT on December 7, 1931 daughter of Lester and Esther (Chilson) Smith. She attended school in Readsboro.
Minola was a homemaker to her family and was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She attended the First Baptist Church of North Adams.
She was the widow of George Clyde "Ozzie" Shurtleff Sr. who died on March 2, 1989. Survivors include four daughters- Susan DiGennaro of Crestview, FL; Eva Jones of North Adams; Irene Samson and Ann Bissaillon, both of Adams; and two sons- George C. Shurtleff Jr. of Adams and Arthur Shurtleff of Pittsfield. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. Thirteen brothers and sisters are deceased.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Nonie Shurtleff will be Friday December 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA.
