Arleen O'Connor, 74 of North Adams, MA died Tuesday December 5, 2017 at North Adams Commons.
She was born in North Adams, MA on April 14, 1943 daughter of the late Albert and Shirley (Busby) O'Connor. She attended local schools and graduated from the Drury High School.
Arleen was first employed at the former North Adams Transcript. She then worked at Sprague Electric Co. for many years and also worked at the Visiting Nurse Association. She was last employed by the Berkshire Community Action Council. Arleen was a member of the board of directors for the North Adams Little League and the Landmark Credit Union.
Survivors include two sisters- Sharon Montanaro of Warwick, RI and Maureen Catelotti of North Adams and one brother- Thomas O'Connor of North Adams. She also leaves nieces and nephews including Derek Catelotti, Colleen Sklar, Heather Montanaro, and Corinne Montanaro; and grandnieces and a grandnephew including Emma Sklar, Ava Catelotti, and Vincent Catelotti.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Arleen O'Connor will be Friday December 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 5-7 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund in care of the funeral home.
