DONALD EDWARD TATRO, 84 of Clarksburg, MA died on Friday, December 8, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on September 11, 1933 in Searsburg, VT to Walter William and Viola Ethel (Reed) Tatro. He attended schools in Searsburg and received his certificate in Metal Fabrication from McCann Technical High School. He used that certification to pursue a career at Sprague Electric Company eventually becoming a supervisor. Mr. Tatro loved fishing, hunting, and woodworking in his spare time and was a member of the Stamford Sportsman’s Club. His main joy was spending time with his family.
Donald's wife Joyce Ann (Russell) Tatro whom he married July 10, 1954 died November 23, 1992. Survivors include his three children; Debbra Bedard of Clarksburg, Brenda Young and her husband, Rodney of Reno, NV and Jeffrey Tatro and his wife, Amy of Adams, MA. He also leaves six grandchildren; Peter Bedard, Russell Bedard and his wife Tonya, Nicole Young, Lindsey Tatro, Jillian Tatro and Jared Young and two great grandchildren, Jackson Bedard and Hailey Houghton as well as two sisters, Edna Cooper of Adams and Rosella Cote and her husband, William of Williamstown. Donald leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Rena DeMarsico and three brothers, Walter Jr., Peter and Gerald Tatro; and sister Mary and brother George Tatro who died in infancy. He was also predeceased by son-in-law Paul Bedard, two brother-in-laws John Cooper and Robert DeMarsico, and sister-in-law Helen Tatro.
