James A. Renton, 71 of Cheshire, MA died Wednesday January 3, 2018.
He was born in Adams, MA on March 16, 1946 son of James and Rita Emma (Gageant) Renton. He attended North Adams schools and graduated from the Drury High School.
Jimmy was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Navy. He owned and operated Renton's Farmland Market on State Road in Williamstown for many years. Jimmy enjoyed bowling at Mount Greylock Bowl.
Survivors include three sisters- Pamela R. Cadran of Cheshire; Ellen A. Quigley (John) of Freedom, NH; and Denise R. Davignon (Alan) of Seattle, WA; and one brother- Robert H. Renton of Cheshire. He also leaves nieces and nephews including Renee´ C. Kolbusz, Bryan J. Cadran (Teresa), Jane E. Cadran, Shawn Quigley, Cari-Ann Packhem, Kristen Davignon, and Harrison Davignon; and one grandniece- Holly Cadran; his uncle- Louis Gageant and several cousins.
