Obituary for Beverly A. Winslow (Senecal)

Beverly Ann Winslow, 83, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 in Pittsfield. She was born in North Adams to Henry and Pauline Senecal on May 14, 1934. Beverly graduated from Pittsfield High School and then worked at the Pittsfield City Clerk’s Office. She married Robert Patrick Winslow of Pittsfield in November 1956. Beverly proudly stayed at home with her children until they were of school age and then worked as a secretary at Stearns School, then Redfield and lastly at Westside Community School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, playing Scrabble, traveling and wintering in Naples, FL during her retirement. She attended St. Theresa’s and St. Mark’s Parishes, both in Pittsfield. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pauline Senecal, and her late husband of 61 years, Robert P. Winslow. Survivors include her two sisters, Sue Ellen Williams of Bristol, VA, and Debra Ruth Senecal of Bristol, TN, daughter, Wendy A. McCarthy and her husband, Kevin of Nashua, NH, son, Robert C. Winslow and wife Christine of Whitehouse, TN, and two granddaughters, Jessica and Danielle Winslow. She is also survived by her nephew, Louis J. Senecal and his wife Dona and their son Zachary of Lenox, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Springside Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center and HospiceCare in the Berkshires for their care and compassion given to Beverly.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Mark’s Church, 400 West St., Pittsfield with the Rev. David Aufiero, Pastor officiating. Burial will be private in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. At Beverly’s request there will be No calling hours.
