ERNEST RALPH TATRO, SR. of North Adams, MA died on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Williamstown Commons, Williamstown, MA. He was born in Stamford, VT on March 18, 1943 a son to the late Ralph and Pearl (Benoit) Tatro. He attended schools in Stamford, VT. Ernest was a carpenter for various companies in the area and was last employed by John C. Hammann Contractors in Williamstown, MA. Mr. Tatro loved to hunt and fish and also loved four wheeling.
Survivors include his wife, the former Elizabeth " Beth" Marie Kemp whom he married in May of 2008. He also leaves his children; sons, Todd Tatro and his wife, Donna, Ernest Tatro Jr. and his wife, Theresa all of North Adams as well as a daughter, Wendy Laughlin and her partner, Richard Tarsa of Adams, MA. He leaves four grandchildren, Chad Tatro, Jenna Laughlin, Joshua Sweet and Gina Tatro and two great grandchildren, Natalie Tatro and Madeline Tatro. Ernie also leaves his stepson, Steven Kemp of North Adams and step granddaughter, Aadilyn Kemp as well as three brothers, Bruce Tatro of North Adams, Richard Tatro of Lanesboro and Roger Tatro of FL, and a sister, Bonnie Volpi of Adams and several nieces and nephews.
