Arthur Henry Johnson 72, of New Ashford, MA. died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his home. He was born in Williamstown on November 20, 1944 a son of the late Carl and Clara (Packard) Johnson. Art graduated from the former Williamstown High School. He was the owner and operator of Art Johnson Contracting Co. and Art Johnson Concrete Co.
His wife Nancy Ann Walker whom he married December 20, 1989 died September 25, 2016. Survivors include three daughters Karla Bassette and Tom, Kelly Morin and Joe and Karen Johnson and Bill. Eight grandchildren Kevin, Jeff, Steven, Adam, Kayla, Jamar, Steven and Katey. Five great grandchildren. Art also leaves two sisters Arlene Johnson and Olive DiGennaro and one brother Mark Johnson. He was predeceased by a daughter Kathy O'Rell, two brothers Charles and Eugene a sister Audrey and a sister-in-law Eileen Steele.
