Ersilia Jacqueline “Jackie” Passardi, 83, of Monroe Bridge, MA died on March 4, 2018. She was born in Tandil, Argentina, South America on January 18, 1935 a daughter of the late John and Maria (Balduzzi) Passardi. Ersilia came to Monroe Bridge at the age of four. She attended Monroe schools, and graduated from Drury High School in North Adams. She was last employed by United Technologies Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks, CT, where she worked for 35 years until her retirement.
Ersilia was a communicant of St. Joachim’s Church in Readsboro, VT. She was a member of the Trentino Club of New England, as well as the Monroe Historical Society. She enjoyed sewing and skiing.
Survivors include her sisters Aurelia Gavazzi of East Longmeadow, MA; and Lucy Passardi of Monroe Bridge; brother Ron Passardi of Monroe Bridge; niece Laura Caleri of Sommers, NY; as well as a grandniece and grandnephew, Brianna and Nicky Caleri. She was predeceased by her brother Alfred Passardi.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Ersilia Passardi will take place on Saturday March 10, 2018 at 11am at St. Joachim’s Church, Readsboro, VT. A calling hour will be held from 10am until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place in the spring in Village Cemetery, Readsboro, VT.
