June Selma (Anderson) Leonesio, 95 of Williamstown, MA died Monday March 12, 2018 at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in North Adams, MA on February 28, 1923 daughter of Lawrence James and Selma (Knechtel) Anderson. She attended schools in North Adams and Adams.
June worked at Berkshire Fine Spinning for 11 years and was last employed in home care for Dr. Douglas Herr and Dr. Bonnie Herr in Williamstown for 16 years until her retirement in 1999. She was a former member of the Adams Turners.
She was the widow of John Bert Leonesio who died July 31, 2008.
Survivors include one son- John Lawrence Leonesio and his wife, Paula of Cheshire and one daughter- Debbie Leonesio of Adams. She also leaves one grandson- Brent Thomas Leonesio of Pittsfield and one great grandson- Devon Thomas Leonesio of Pittsfield; one brother- Ronald Anderson and his wife, Wanda of Cheshire; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson- John Michael Leonesio and her sister- Marilyn Gaffey.
