Ruth Ann (Suthers) Davis, 89, of North Adams, MA died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in North Adams, MA on January 10, 1929 a daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Dean) Suthers.
Ruth attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School. She went on to work in food service at Williams College until her retirement.
Ruth was an active communicant of Sts. Patrick & Raphael Parish. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, as well as the Clarksburg Senior Center. She was an avid bowler, and participated in a retiree league.
Ruth was the widow of Joseph John Davis, whom she married on October 15, 1949. He died on March 9, 2015.
Survivors include her three sons Bruce Davis and his wife, Joyce of Clarksburg; Timothy Davis and his wife, Nancy of Naples, FL; and Kevin Davis and his wife, Teresa of Adams; seven grandchildren Rebecca Pontier, Heather Carpenter, Kaitlin VanDeusen, Kelley O’Shea, Laura, Joseph, and Michael Davis; eight great grandchildren; as well as her faithful dog, Bubba. She was predeceased by her brother Edward F. Suthers.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Ruth Davis will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:00a.m. at Sts. Patrick & Raphael Parish, Williamstown, MA. Calling hours will take place on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 4:00-7:00p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Homes, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
