BELINDA LORRAINE (HUGHES) TRACY, 63, of North Adams, MA passed peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. She was born in Eagle Bridge, NY on April 3, 1954 a daughter of Thomas Chester Barham and Helen Lorraine Hughes, adopted by a step father Charles Cone. She attended schools in Eagle Bridge and some college in Bennington.
In her younger years, Belinda was a high fashion model in New York City. She was an editorial writer for the North Adams Transcript. An accomplished artist, she was a woman who did it her way. A beautiful, funny, passionate, warm, generous, spiritually independent woman; deeply loved. Those who knew her benefitted from her caring strength, love, and wisdom and above all she adored her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Renee Tracy of Watertown, MA and her three sons Eric Pierce and his children, Rylan and Maddox of Lumberton, NJ, Matthew Tracy of Fl and his children, Demitri and Geneeva, and Seth May of Ontario, Canada, and her great grandchild, Maxwell. She also leaves her brother, Blaine Barham and cousin, Jackie Harte, her sisters Wendy, Tammy, and Candy Cone and brother Billy Cone of NY. She was predeceased by her daughter, Wendi Hannah Mary Tracy who died on November 11, 2012 as well as her soul mate, William Hein who also died in 2018, and a sister Kathy Cone in 2004.
