FRANCES VIRGINIA (BERASI) ROBERTS, 94 of North Adams, MA, formerly of West Sand Lake, NY, died on Monday, June 18, 2018 at her home. She was born in North Adams, MA on October 14, 1923, a daughter of the late Angelo and Maria (Cellana) Berasi. She graduated from Drury High School in 1941, Berkshire Community College in 1967, and Russell Sage College in 1969. She was a teacher at Tamarac School for many years in Troy, NY until her retirement.
Fran was the widow of Frank Roberts who died on May 2, 2009. They were married on October 3, 1958. Survivors include her brother, Angelo P. Berasi and nieces, Frances Berasi and her husband, Kevin Boisjolie, Roberta Lamb, and Elizabeth Boland and her nephew David Berasi. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Celia Conuel and nieces and nephews.
Fran was a great storyteller and enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and a great party. She was generous, inspiring, kind and compassionate and will be greatly missed.

FUNERAL NOTICE: In accordance with Fran’s wishes, funeral arrangements are private. A celebration of her life will take place on Friday June 29, 2018 at 10:30 at her niece’s home in North Adams.
