I didn't know that Mike had died, he was a great friend a long time ago. He loved his family and he loved the vets. Mike had a brilliant mind and had a strong sense of speaking truth as he saw it. There were rough edges to that but he cared deeply. He was so proud of his daughters! The world has lost a spark!

I considered Mike a very close friend for the last 60 + years ! He worked hard for everything he believed in especially the rights of all veterans !!! Though very vocal for many, his style often got his point across. We had many discussions of our experiences in Vietnam and fought side by side for other veterans here to help them achieve the benefits that they deserved in civilian life. I will never forget all the great times we had establishing the V.V,A. Chapter 54 ! I am very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We met when the Vietnam Vets Club was being established. He led an active life and was a familiar face seen driving all around town. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Thoughts and prayers to Mike's family. Mike was a true hero to his community and all who knew him!

We are so saddened and shocked by Mike's passing. We would visit with him so often at our store as he stopped in often to say hello and all around town. We have known Mike and other members of the family for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
