Irene Isabell (Shurtleff) Samson, 58 of Adams, MA passed away Friday August 24, 2018 at her home.
She was born in North Adams, MA on September 26, 1959 daughter of George Clyde Shurtleff Sr. and Minola Isabell (Smith) Shurtleff. She attended Drury High School. She attended Drury High School.
Irene was the proprietor of Berkshire Commercial Cleaning Services. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Adams. She loved the ocean especially in Maine and also enjoyed motorcycling. Irene served as a foster parent and was devoted to her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Douglas Samson whom she married October 15, 1994 and two daughters- Mindy Tatro and her husband, Peter of Cheshire and Kayla Samson of Adams and one son- Timothy Michael Samson of North Adams. She also leaves six grandchildren- Kaylee, Kadan, Jayden, Brooklynn, Logan and Timothy; three sisters- Susan DiGennaro of Crestview, FL; Eva Jones of North Adams; and Ann Bissaillon of Adams; two brothers- George C. Shurtleff Jr of North Adams and Arthur Shurtleff of Pittsfield and nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Irene Samson will be Thursday August 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at FLYNN&DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA.
