Karen Dorene (Martin) Wentz, 59 of North Adams, MA died Friday August 31, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in North Adams, MA on September 8, 1958 daughter of Francis and Alma (LaBonte) Martin. She attended local schools including the Drury High School.
Karen was primarily a homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was a member of the Mount Greylock Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Joseph Wentz III whom she married in 1976; two daughters- Rebecca Twining and Katherine Wentz and one son- Jeremy Wentz; and ten grandchildren. She also leaves six sisters including Deborah Briscoe, Brenda Moore, Shirley Therrien, Judith Martin, Sandra Dooley and Susan Washburn; and seven brothers including James Martin, John Martin, Raymond Martin, Richard Martin, Robert Martin, Francis Martin and Thomas Martin and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother and two sisters including Mary, Nancy and Eugene.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A private funeral for Karen Wentz will be held at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be private.
