Obituary for Evelyn Mae Falbo (Berard)

EVELYN MAE (BERARD) FALBO, 100 of Williamstown, MA died Monday, September 3, 2018 at the home of her granddaughter, Lori Audet of Cheshire, MA. She was born in Readsboro, VT on June 6, 1918, a daughter of the late Henry E. and Gladys M. (Tower) Berard. She attended the former Williamstown High School as a member of the class of 1936 and then attended the Bliss Business College. She was employed in her younger years at Sprague Electric and Cornish Wire. She also worked at the Kwalitee Gift Shop in North Adams.
Evelyn was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was a longtime communicant of Sts Patrick and Raphael Church in Williamstown. She and her late husband Frank were active members of Mt. Anthony Country Club in Bennington, VT where they enjoyed golfing. They also were snowbirds in Florida for many years. She also loved to stay active by dancing and walking and had a passion for cooking.
Evelyn was the widow of Frank Francis Falbo who she married on July 8, 1939. He died on July 22, 2003. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy A. Spencer and her partner Steve McCann of Lanesboro, three grandchildren, Michael P. Spencer of Williamstown, Lori Audet of Cheshire and Jodi Spencer and her husband, Richie Haley of Williamstown. A son-in-law Peter Spencer. She also leaves her great grandchildren, Tyler Spencer and his fiancee Leanne Martin and son James Fisk, Spencer Haley, Richie Haley III, Mason Audet, Ryan Audet and Parker Audet as well as a great, great grandchild, Hayden Michael Spencer. She was predeceased by her great grandson, Garrison Hayden Spencer who died in 2015, her two brothers; Roger and Robert Berard and her three sisters, Louise Skerkis, Delia Falbo and Jennie Williams.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian burial to celebrate the life of Evelyn Mae Falbo will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10a.m. in Sts Patrick and Raphael Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4-7p.m. on Thursday, September 6 at the Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main Street in North Adams, MA.
