Grant Paul Lapine, 67 of Stamford, VT died Tuesday September 4, 2018 at his home.
He was born in North Adams, MA on September 29, 1950 son of Rita Beatrice (Letourneau) Lapine and the late, Donald Ray Lapine. He attended schools in Readsboro and graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School in North Adams. He also graduated from Vermont Technical College.
Grant was employed by National Grid for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Survivors include his mother- Rita Lapine of Stamford, VT; one daughter- Sarah J. Lapine of St. Petersburg, VA and one son- Jeffrey Michael Lapine of Port St. John, FL. He also leaves one grandson- Dustin Lapine; two sisters- Janie Tatro of Stamford, VT and JoAnne Boudreau of Readsboro, VT and nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A prayer service for Grant Lapine will be held Monday September 10, 2018 at 7:00 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Stamford Volunteer Fire Dept. in care of the funeral home.
