Obituary for Cecelia Lorraine Turgeon Guertin (Lampman)

Cecelia Lorraine (Lampman) Turgeon Guertin, 90 formerly of Pownal, VT, died on Tuesday October 2, 2018 in Vero Beach, FL.
She was born in Willimansett, MA on February 5, 1928 a daughter to the late Earl E. and Isabelle M. (Chenaille) Lampman. She attended schools in Pownal, VT.
Cecelia moved to Williamstown in 1951 and assisted her husband in the operation of Pines Lodge Park where in 1991 retired. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Williamstown and a former member and past president of Le Cercle Francais. She was a member of the Pownal Senior Citizens.
Cecelia married her first husband, Edward Turgeon, on May 26, 1951. He died in 1991. She leaves her husband, Peter R. Guertin, whom she married on January 6, 2001 in Williamstown, MA. She also leaves a daughter, Lorraine Turgeon Barnoski and her husband Robert of North Granby, CT, two sons; Jon Edward Turgeon and his wife, Elizabeth of Savannah, GA, and James Earl Turgeon and his wife, Judith of Williamstown as well as eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Ramona Turgeon and her husband William of NC. She leaves her step children, Deborah and her husband Harry Rottenberg, Donna and her husband Dana Sherril and Diana and her husband David Poole and eight step grandchildren and one step great grandchild and nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Norman E. Lampman.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Cecelia Guertin will be held on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sts Patrick and Raphael Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home - WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main ST. North Adams, MA 01247.
