Obituary for Eugene Robert Robare
Eugene Robert Robare, longtime resident of Kemp Ave in North Adams died on January 7, 2017 at his daughter and son-in law, Rebecca and Stephen Cyr's home in North Adams.
Eugene was born in North Adams on July 1, 1934, son of the late Edith (Chase) and Charles Robare. He graduated from Drury High School. Eugene was the owner and operator of Mohawk Garage on Marshall St. in North Adams for many years and was also a member of the North Adams Lions Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Knox who died on April 10, 2013. They were married on April 5, 1957. At the time of his death he was a resident of Rotonda West, Florida
Eugene leaves his three daughters, Loribeth Robare and her husband, Thomas Tatro of Walpole, NH, Julieann Haskins and her husband Steven of Williamstown, MA, and Rebecca Cyr and her husband Stephen of North Adams. Pop leaves 7 grandchildren, Heather Wahler, Kurtis Cyr, Colin Tatro, India Tatro, Jenay Haskins, Lauren Haskins, and Mollyann Haskins. He also leaves three great grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, and Emma Carol Wahler.

FUNERAL NOTICE: At the request of Eugene there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life for both of our parents will take place on Sunday January 29, 2017. Please stop by anytime between 1:00 and 3:00 PM at the Freight Yard Pub in North Adams. We invite all family and friends to celebrate Gene and Carol.
