Condolences & Tributes

I am going to miss my cup of tea and all of our conversations. Stopping to visit would be my high point of the day. Especially when we were going through the law suit. You knew what mom (Esther)would have wanted. You listened to me during my darkest hours. I am not sure I would have made it if not for you. All the lies. The corruption. Our lawyers ditching us(but taking all of our money). You listened. Now, hopefully you have met up with my mom. You are probably talking about the trial but then reverting back to all the good times when she stopped in to see you. She so looked forward to her visits with you on Saturday morning. Rest in peace and hook up with my mom. She is probably with your sister Mary.

I knew Helen when I was in the Junior League and was in charge of running the Thrift Shop. Helen was a sweet, kind woman who was a wonderful worker and friend. I loved how she interacted with the customers and cared for the look of the shop. She came to work, always with a smile on her face and impeccably dressed.

It will seem very strange not to see Helen on the front porch. For the almost 43 years that she's been my neighbor, this was the norm. You will be missed, Helen!
