Condolences

Condolence From: Mandy Wollmer
Condolence: I was part of the St Luke's group that worked with Barb for many years. I have such fond memories of those years working with her. We often carpooled when we went to the Sunday AM breakfasts once a month. She was a fine nurse and an attribute to the nursing profession.Mandy

Condolence From: Ruth Adam Porter
Condolence: Sorry for this loss for family and friends. Barbara had a huge impact on my nursing education. She was a wonderful role model, an encourager, and help mold her students at Burbank Hospital School of Nursing to professional excellence. She could balance the serious and the silly of life. A pleasure to have known you Barbara.

Condolence From: Robin Gonzales
Condolence: Barbara was one of the first nurses I met when I started my nursing career in Critical Care in 1978. She was a mentor and soon became one of my best friends. I enjoyed dog-sitting her beloved Shannon whenever needed. We have remained close despite the distance after she moved back to MA. By luck, I ended up moving to NY and we reconnected. She, Lois, sometimes Gloria, my son and myself had almost a tradition of meeting at Red Lobster every summer when it was time to open the pool. I am grateful I was able to see her in early December - it was like we saw each the the day before. Barb - I will miss having you a party of my life but I'm so glad you are no longer in pain. You are reunited with Lois, John, your mom and Shannon who I'm sure met you at the pearly gates. Heaven gained another angel. RIP my friend. Love, Robin and Matthew Gonzales
