Obituary for Erma Raflowitz

ERMA RAFLOWITZ
January 3, 1914 – February 27, 2018
Erma Raflowitz died February 27th peacefully in her home at 104 years of age.
Born in Cologne, Germany to Joseph and Regina Siegel emmigrated with her mother when she was 1 year old.
In 1932 she married William Nathan Raflowitz and resided in South Fallsburgh, N.Y. for a short time and then moved to Great Barrington, Massachusetts where they lived and raised 2 children. Erma had many acting roles in the Great Barrington Players, loved to paint, antique, and was very involved with the local school.
In 1961 they were the 1st occupants at the Crystal House in Miami Beach, Florida where she was the founder and president of the Social Club. She remained active throughout her life organizing trips and events.
Erma was a devoted wife and mother to Charlie and his wife Linda Raflowitz and Linda Robbins and her husband Arnie.
She leaves behind:
Her grandchildren; Jamie, Tammy (Ira), Rick (wife Renee) * great grand children Tyler (wife Stephanie), Shaun, Todd (wife Jessie), Dani, Sunny, Amanda, Randi, Ryan & 1 great great grand child: Ellie. Nieces and nephews, Ronald and Lorraine Siegel, Seline Siegel, Randy (Diane) Seigel daughter Cloe, Laurie and Larry Havassy, Joshua (Caroline) Havassy, Amy (Craig) Bartoshefsky, daughter Adalyn, Susan and Donald Selkin, Joel and Diane Siegel, Benjamin, Steven, & countless friends who loved her. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched and impacted profoundly.

Raflowitz will be Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. at Knesset Israel Cemetery 484 Pecks Road, Pittsfield with Rabbi David Weiner, Spiritual Leader of Congregation Knesset Israel officiating.
