While researching my ancestry I came across a reference to my senior namesake who's acquaintance I would have loved to make. Interestingly I visited a friend in Williamstown in 1998 and certainly wish I had known of Mr. and Mrs. Asher then. My mother was from Calcutta and I have visited the city many times in my childhood. I have no doubt we crossed paths many a time without knowing each other. Your family and mine probably share some common ancestors and if you are as curious as I am, I do have my family tree traced back several generations.
