Barbara J. (Williams) Spencer 84, of North Adams died Tuesday October 9, 2018 at her home. She was born in Adams on June 20, 1934 a daughter of the late Hugh and Mary (Martula) Williams. Barbara graduated from the former Adams High School and was employed for many years at the Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of North Adams.Her husband Milton Spencer died January 23,, 1997. Barbara is survived by her son Bruce A. Williams and his wife Dal who Barbara was very devoted to. Two granddaughters Kelly Tippette and Sonya Roberts. She also leaves two stepchildren Dorothy Spencer of North Adams and Milton S. Spencer of North Adams and several step grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Hugh Williams and a stepdaughter Sally Ann Lesure.
Graveside services for Barbara Spencer will take place Friday October 12, 2018 at 1PM at the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
