Robert Lawrence “Cookie-Man” Northcutt, 71 of North Adams, MA died on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Albany, NY on December 4, 1946 a son of Gilbert and Catherine M. (Hess) Northcutt. He attended schools in Kentucky.
Robert was last employed by Nabisco, where he worked for about 30 years until his retirement. After retiring, he worked for Hannaford Supermarkets in Bennington, VT.
Robert was a member of the Greylock Community Club, as well as the North Adams Elks. He enjoyed bowling and playing golf and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his two sons- Brian M. Northcutt and his wife, Jennifer and Scott M. Northcutt and his wife, BoYoung both of Gardnerville, NV; four grandchildren- Cameron; Anna; Jackson; and Kira; and three brothers Peter H. Northcutt of KY; Earl Joseph "Buddy" Northcutt of KY; and Michael Northcutt of FL; and one sister Catherine Holiday; as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gilbert Northcutt.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours to celebrate the life of Robert Northcutt will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2-4 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS – WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. A reception will follow at the Greylock Community Club. Donations in his memory may be made to the Junior Bowling League at Mt. Greylock Bowl.
