Condolence: I'm terrible sorry to hear of this tragedy. What words can you say to console the brokenhearted? There are few. True words of comfort can be found in God's Word the Bible. In His Word, we find these words at Psalms 34:18 which say, "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit". Be sure that God is close to you right now. We often find ourselves questioning life when tragedies like this happen, and then we find ourselves blaming God. The man Elihu, a friend of Job said this of God at Job 34:10- "So listen to me, you men of understanding: It is unthinkable for the true God to act wickedly,For the Almighty to do wrong!" Never should we blame God for the wrong in the world. We can be absolutely sure that He hates what happens in the world and at his appointed time he will act to remove all wickedness including death. Jw.org is a bible-based website that can help answer your questions about life, death, God's purpose for us, and so much more. Just look under the menu and click Bibke Questions Answered. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
