We encourage you to share any memorable photos or stories about Sandra. All tributes placed on and purchased through this memorial website will remain on in perpetuity for future generations.
My deepest condolences to Sandy's family. As a clinical specialist at Baystate Health and Franklin Medical Center for more than 30 years I often worked with Sandy. She was a positive influence to her staff and maintained high standards when it came to education. She should be commended for advancing her education later in life. We had many laughs and I was truely saddened to hear of her passing.
My warmest wishes to the family.

I met Sandy 10 years ago when I joined the MARN/ANA MA CE committee and enjoyed many commutes into Boston to meetings with her. She was my mentor for this committee and work group. She was patient and fair....and funny! I could email or call her with any question. We also spent some time working together when she was in grad school. I will miss our conversations about "anything and everything" during our drives, it made the traffic bearable!
I am so glad that she was a part of my life.

A native of North Adams I have lived in Holyoke since 1950 and a few years ago I heard from Sandy. We e-mailed every so often and just last week I received a long message from her and responded. She sounded so full of life I was stunned to read her obituary in the REPUBLICAN this morning.I am a generation older than sandy, being 91, but my memories of North Adams, Drury High School, our Tyrolese heritage matched Sandy's and I am very sad for her family and friends that such a lovely, pleasant and kind person is gone.
