Obituary for Mary "Madelyn" Clermont (Charbonneau)

Mary "Madelyn" (Charbonneau) Clermont, 95 of North Adams, MA died Thursday November 29, 2018 at Williamstown Commons, surrounded by her family.
She was born in North Adams, MA on February 27, 1923 daughter of George and Evelyn B. (Bouchard) Charbonneau. She attended North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1942.
Madelyn was last employed by the city of North Adams at its middle school as the cafeteria manager for 20 years until her retirement in 1988. Before that, she worked at Mass Electric on Bank St. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Madelyn enjoyed bowling.
She was the widow of Edward Arthur "Jack" Clermont who died on December 8, 2010. They were married on April 10, 1948 in the former Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church.
Survivors include two daughters- Jacquelyn Clermont and her husband, Jerry Clabaugh of Arlington, MA and Janice A. Andrews and her husband, Randy of North Adams. She also leaves two grandsons including Brad W. Andrews of Copiague, NY and Aaron E. Andrews of North Adams; and many nieces and nephews including Paul Vincelette of Virginia Beach, VA. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Roselyn "Roz" Vincelette.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Madelyn Clermont will be celebrated Tuesday December 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA are Monday from 4-7 PM.
