Obituary for Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Crosier (Racine)
Elizabeth Jane “Betty” (Racine) Crosier, 82, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in Adams, MA on March 7, 1936 a daughter of Arthur and Regina (Charbonneau) Racine.
She attended schools in Adams, including Adams Memorial High School. For many years, Betty was the owner and operator of Betty’s Hillside Beauty Salon located on West Main St. in North Adams. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.
Survivors include her husband Neal Howard Crosier, whom she married on December 31, 1991. She also leaves daughters Karen LaBomard and her husband, Raymond of North Adams; and Anne Reynolds and her husband, Glenn of Adams; sons Michael Casuscelli and his wife, Janet of IN; and Steven Casuscelli of North Adams; sister Virginia Kruszyna and her husband, Ronald of Cheshire; brother Richard Racine and his wife, Barbara of Adams; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her son John Casuscelli, and her sister Florence Swistak.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Elizabeth Crosier will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
