Frances (Phillips) Williams, 77, of North Adams died on Saturday April 27, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center.
She was born in North Adams, MA on January 26, 1942 a daughter of the late David D. and Thelma R. (Wright) Phillips. Frances graduated from Drury High School and then worked at Hunter’s Outdoor Products and Sprague Electric Company. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Frances was the widow of Nathaniel Williams who died on March 18, 1989. Frances leaves her three children, Shiree Williams of North Adams, Cassandra Joy of North Adams, and Sara-Jean Williams of Pittsfield. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Frances also leaves her brother Robert Phillips of North Adams; 2 sisters, Dianne Amos and Sandra Brimage of North Adams. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Warren Wright and David Phillips.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Frances Williams will take place at 2p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main Street, North Adams. Burial will be at a later date in the Southview Cemetery, Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 11a.m. until the time of the funeral. Memorial donations may be made in her memory through the funeral home.
