Barbara May (O'Neil) Alarie of Adams, MA died Wednesday July 17, 2019 at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in North Adams, MA on September 1, 1942 daughter of Thomas J. O'Neil Jr. and Patricia (Farrell) O'Neil. She attended local schools and graduated from the St. Joseph's High School.
Barbara worked at Price Chopper in North Adams and at the former K-Mart Department Store.
Survivors include one daughter Cheryl Green of Adams; and two sons Brian Alarie and his wife Mary of Adams; and Francis E. Alarie III and his wife, Elizabeth of Hawaii. She also leaves five grandchildren Nicole, Megan, Brittany, Melinda, and Teddy; one sister Kathleen Gregory of Dalton; two brothers Joseph O'Neil and Gary O'Neil; as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters including Denise O'Neil and Eileen Tisdale. The family would like to thank HospiceCare in the Berkshires and Williamstown Commons.
