Obituary for Zachary Scott Bonneville

It is with profound sadness that the family of Zachary Scott Bonneville announces his passing on July 23, 2019, at the age of 38.
Zachary was born on April 15, 1981 in Pittsfield, MA to Nancy (Mahoney) Bonneville Church and the late Edmund Gerard Bonneville. He attended Gabriel Abbott Memorial School and Drury High School and was also working towards a degree at Berkshire Community College. Zachary was last employed by General Nutrition Center in Lanesboro. Before that, he worked at Unistress for several years.
Zachary’s passion in life was powerlifting and weight training, and he was a dedicated member of Iron Bred Gym—which he considered his second home. Zachary competed in many powerlifting competitions, taking home several top place awards. He was always eager to share his powerlifting knowledge, and took great joy in helping other athletes at his gym. Zachary also enjoyed playing the guitar and had a great love for music.
Zachary’s life was changed for the better when his son, Lane Bonneville, came into the world. Zachary devoted his life to Lane; the best moments of his life were spent with his son. Zachary sparked in Lane a love of hiking, fishing and wrestling, and he was known for the imaginative bedtime stories that he created for Lane, including a magical forest full of adventure.
Zachary is survived by his mother, Nancy Bonneville Church and her husband, Ted Church of Florida, MA and the love of his life, Jaclyn Latimer and their son, Lane Bonneville. He also leaves four brothers, Steven Bonneville and his wife Diana of Becket, Gabriel Bonneville of Collegeville, PA, Jacob Bonneville and his wife Amy of Adams and Silas Bonneville of Florida, MA; one sister, Edwina Gazaille and her husband Brian of North Carolina; one stepsister, Arianne LeBlanc; one stepbrother, Nathan Church; and nieces and nephews.
