Obituary for Grayce Ellen Rarick (O'Neil)
Grayce Ellen (O’Neil) Rarick, 68, of North Adams, MA died on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield, MA. She was born in North Adams on November 22, 1950, a daughter of Howard and Grace (Lee) O’Neil Martin. She attended schools in North Adams, graduating St. Joseph’s High School. She was the head waitress at the original Capitol Restaurant in North Adams and after its closure she became the catering manager for Aramark Services at MCLA.
Mrs. Rarick married her husband, David Francis Rarick on November 17, 1969. He pre deceased her on November 5, 2016. Survivors include her two sons, Shannon D. Rarick of North Adams and Heath D. Rarick of Gloversville, NY as well as four grandchildren; Connor and Cayden Rarick and Nathan and Dylan Hodge. She also leaves a brother, James Fink and his wife Betsy of North Carolina. Sister in-law Anne Marie O’Neil, nephews Brad and Tyler, a niece Sarah O’Neil of Adams, MA. She was predeceased by a brother, Howard “Jodi” O’Neil.
Grayce’s final wishes were that there would be no calling hours and that she would be cremated and a service will take place at a later date.
