Obituary for JoAnne Camilla Upton (Bettis)
JoAnne Camilla (Bettis) Upton, 81 of North Adams, MA died on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Berkshire medical Center in Pittsfield, MA She was born in Great Barrington, MA on January 23, 1938 a daughter of the late Donald Fremont and Angeline (Denelli) Bettis. She attended schools in Great Barrington. She was a loving mother and grandmother who took joy in spending time with her family. She enjoyed trips out shopping.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl McCormick, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Mary Agnes Beverly and Donna Marie Wondoloski and two brothers, Joseph Peter Bettis and Donald Fremont Bettis Jr. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Guy Bettis.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A private memorial service to celebrate the life of JoAnne Upton will be held at the Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main Street in North Adams, MA followed by burial in Southview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital through the funeral home.
