Obituary for Paul Edward Monette
Paul Edward Monette, 74, of 38 Angeli St., North Adams, died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in North Adams on June 15, 1945 to the late Francis and Georgianna (Lemaire) Monette.
Paul was a graduate of Drury High School. During his life Paul was employed at the Wall Steeter Shoe Company, General Electric, Widen Tanning Co., Ott & Berger, Ott’s Auto Sales and most recently at Haddad Car Dealership in Pittsfield. He enjoyed ceramics, puzzles, playing chess and cards and fishing.
Paul is survived by his three loving daughters Barbara Monette, Theresa (Keith) LePicier and Paula (Kevin) Griffin as well as three grandchildren Samantha Weinberg, Jennifer Griffin and Meghan Griffin. He is also survived by his twin great-grandchildren Shaw Elizabeth Weinberg and Astra Jane Weinberg and his great niece Kelly Amaral who was like a daughter to him. Paul was predeceased by his grandson Paul Griffin, sister Alice Booth and brother Edward Monette.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral home service for Paul will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Paul memory may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires through the funeral home.
