Obituary for Herbert Ebert Blake Jr.
Herbert Ebert Blake Jr., 79 of North Adams, MA died on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. He was born in North Adams, MA on June 27, 1941 a son to the late Herbert and Eva (Chalifoux) Blake. He attended schools in Pownal, VT. He was first employed at Widen Tannery and then worked at Bedard Brothers as an auto mechanic until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Jody (Wildy) Blake who he married on October 15, 1999. He leaves a son, Joshua Blake of North Adams and two granddaughters, Ava and Isabella. He also leaves three sisters, Carol Harris, Doris Haley and Judith Columbus all of Pownal, VT. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald and sisters, Lena Nolli, Florence Courtot, Shirley June Jones, Eva Pratt, Celia Blake and Anna Cook.
