John Antonio Ruscetta Jr., 90 of Pittsfield, MA died Thursday June 18, 2020 at Berkshire Medical Center.
He was born in Pittsfield, MA on January 8, 1930, a son of John Antonio and Rose (Iri) Ruscetta. He attended local schools including Pittsfield High School.
John was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army in Germany.
John was employed at General Electric Co. with IE Local #255 for 45 years until his retirement. He was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and currently attended St. Mark's Church. John enjoyed collecting clocks and model trains and was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC). In his younger years, he was a minor league baseball coach and was a member of the VFW. John also enjoyed attending flea markets and auctions.
Survivors include three sisters- Rita A. (Dale) Wheaton; Gina Marchisio and Teresa Reeves, all of Pittsfield and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Forte.
